Biography
Ally (she/her) is an authentic performer and dancer with a devotion to creating and showcasing art, her aim is to showcase her own love of acting and creating to tell the important stories that are yet to be told, starting with the passion of performing by dancing and singing from a young age training alongside Penny Higgs’s Dance generation and TDC company directed by Lisa Hammer. Finding love in the theatre classes at high school she was able to follow that passion now studying for her Bachelor of Acting at JMC Academy. Starting off with some smaller Australian productions such as Grease the arena experience in 2018. As well as choreographing and teaching smaller dance and theatre classes, training in Eric Morris and Stanislavski at drama school currently. She was recently involved in the 2022 production of our town playing the role of Mrs Gibbs directed by Christian Cavallo, currently playing the role of Cassius in the 2023 production of Julius Caesar directed by Rob Johnson, and also recently a part of the award-nominated short film a point in time at the JMC martini awards, directed by Libby Cowley playing the role of Casey, as well as a part of the JMC short film called Red Ribbon of having the ability to not only direct, write and act in this film. Immersing herself in both acting and dancing has expanded her horizons, following this journey to continue creating art and telling these important stories to the world.
